Pune Film Festival in India to screen Iran’s ‘Anonymity’

The 16th edition of the Pune International Film Festival (PIFF) in India has set to screen Iranian film ‘Anonymity’ directed by Alireza Samadi.

The film produced by Majid Rezabala will go on silver screen at the main competition section of the Indian event.

‘Anonymity’ narrates the story of Amir pushing 40. Stuck between past and present, Amir's most current events in life leaving him dubious about his major decisions that have shaped his life in uncertainty.

The cast list of the movie includes Iranian stars such as Baran Kosari, Mohammad-Hassan Majouni, Alireza Baqeri and Pouria Rahimisam.

Launched in 2002, the PIFF is held every year in the city of Pune which inherits a rich legacy of art and culture.

The 16th edition of the PIFF is slated for January 11-18, 2018, in Pune, India.
